Maher Zain

We came really early to Maju Junction to meet Maher Zain, while waiting, we met a worker from the CD shop (maher was going to the CD shop for the fanmeeting at 3) we came at 11 something. We also had a quick brunch. After solat, i was the first to queue at the empty line. Mama laughed. She said it was too early, but at the same time, she also encouraged me to wait there (she ask me to duduk bersila on the floor, waiting). Soon, more people started to line up. When lining up, a lot of things happened. Kaki cramp, and Kak Wai and I met NEW PEOPLE (the best part of the day, actually) they were all so friendly (especially these two bodyguards from the CD shop) [one a tall quiet guy wearing blue and another one with sepet eyes. Quite short.] Since we were early, all four of us began to chitchat.



Maher Zain came at 3 something after praying. There came OTHER bodyguards in black, blocking the view. then there was this MC, he greeted everyone, and asked us (kak wai and i) what time we came, we said 12. Then he talked about other stuff, (sigh! there goes our 5 seconds of fame), but Maher was looking at us, smiling with his adorable smile for exactly 2-3 minutes.



Then came our turn to get our CDs signed. Maher asked us what time we arrived, we said twelve, he thanked us. We had too many CD and the time was limited, so one of the managers told maher to just sign, no need to write our names, but Maher backed us up, saying "They waited from 12!" He could only write Makyang's name, Kak Jannah's, Kak Wai's. Not mine. I was, of course,really upset. But i didn't do anything. But then Makyang asked her friend to help ask maher to write my name on the CD.



I was happy again, but both Kak Wai and I were still upset that we didnt get to take a picture with Maher. (kak ain took for us, but it was from behind, so...) So we pouted, and complained to the two bodyguards (the tall quiet and the short sepet. ) they said they couldn't do anything. So Kak wai and I decided to line up again. But halfway, the two bodyguards called us and let us take a quick picture with Maher (so we actually cut line~ so jahat x)) Everyone was wondering how we get to cut the line, but oh well ;P



then kak wai took a picture of me with maher, and i took kak wai's picture with maher. But mine turned out to be UGLY, so, i didn't know why, but i cried. We went upstairs to find makyang and mama, but i came back downstairs to thank the bodyguards. ( i was still crying). On the way upstairs on the elevator, i was wiping my tears, then this swedish guy asked me what was wrong.( i dont know if he's a relative of maher or the manager) I started crying harder and told him the picture i took with maher was ugly. So he said nevermind, he took me to a corner with kak wai, and we waited for maher to reach upstairs to leave. While waiting, we chatted with the swedish guy.



Then, as Maher went upstairs, and everyone crowding him, the swedish guy asked the bodyguards to stop, asked maher to stop and he asked maher to take a picture with me. He said "Maher, take a picture with her, or else she'll start crying!" I was a little "-.-", but i didnt mind, because i got to take a picture with him, unlike the others. After a quick snapshot, i heard a dude saying "AKAK, AKAK untung kak!"



He called me akak -.- but well, i was too happy to be bothered by it. I WAS lucky. And i'm really thankful. Today, i feel really GRATEFUL. i feel really lucky. Mama also told me "We learnt something jugak today. Allah tested you, you didnt get his signature, you didnt get a picture, but then, came something better." Ye lah... if i got the picture right the first time, i wouldnt have cried and meet the swedish guy and take a PERSONAL picture with Maher kan?

Kak wai and i were like "InsyaAllah, we'll find our way! (to take a picture with Maher!)
